The new X-Rap has finally passed the practical test!
If you jerk it, you can make go on a zigzag course where it shoots about 2 Feet
from the left to the right. Pike seem to find that extremely attractive! It is
also possible of course, to present it in a calmer manner but a straight
retrieve wouldn't do justice to this lures potential. Even though it is only 10cm,
I have caught some decent pike on it (on the pink coloured version you see in
the picture!). For 2006 the X-Rap has grown into a whole family and I'm sure
you'll here more of these lures. I'm especially glad that my wish for larger
version (for pike) has been heard. Apart from pike in the meantime I've also
caught black bass,
perch and
zander (european walleye) on it. That
makes it a very universal lure.
