Mepps Aglia

I like the Aglia best in the larger sizes (4 and 5) in still water. It shouldn't be too shallow and weedy because it does go a bit deep. About 1,5 to 3m depth is best. It is a good lure for pike and the occasional zander and I've even caught small cod with it in salt water. Of course the small versions are good for trout and perch but for that I really prefer the Comet.

The example on the picture has been tuned with a single hook and e few feathers ( UI daren't call it a fly). Very effective for pike fishing.
