The Libelle (= dragonfly) is the spinner with the most extreme willow leaf
shaped blade that I know.
I'm not that successful with it fishing for trout, but it seems to appeal to
perch and pike. I believe that the frequency is to high in the current but a
slow presentation in still water might be an ideal imitation of small fry, the
narrow silhouette surely adding to this. It turns very calm even on a slow pull
and has a very low quote of foul bites.
