Spin fishing for predators, that means fishing with a
lure like a spinner,
plug
(crank bait and minnow for Americans) or soft bait in a shallow bay for
pike, on a small stream for
trout, in a canal
for perch, in the river for
zander (European walleye) or amidst sunken trees for
black bass. It's
been several years now, that I gave up on all-round fishing to concentrate on
the species and methods which fascinated me the most. Sometime in the
process I had to have a boat, which expanded the horizon of possibilities and of
course I had plan journeys to far away waters, because the chances of catching
nice predators in the nearby places were rather slim. I have tried to publish
first hand information here, always concentrating on writing down my own
experiences and not copy "common knowledge" from other sources. That
does mean, that the wealth of information is slightly limited but it guarantees
its quality. So this is a private page, free of commercial interests, but I will
mention products by name and brand, where it seems appropriate.
