Weight Classes

I have tried to make a rough division into weight classes for spin fishing tackle. Of course this can only deliver some points of orientation and shouldn't be treated as a dogma: You can easily combine an ultra light reel with a light rod. When a rod has a casting weight of 10-30g indicated on the blank it can be a light or a medium rod. The less water resistance a spinner has, the heavier it can be to be fished in the same class. I've chosen to show spinners and deep diving plugs in the spreadsheet because the sizes to use differ quite a bit from the casting weight usually indicated on the rod.
